The Company
Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water has a rare opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join its dynamic and supportive In-house legal team.
Dŵr Cymru keeps 3 million people healthy each day with safe, reliable water, and taking away wastewater to clean, before returning it safely to our beautiful rivers and seas. Dŵr Cymru is a not-for-profit, without shareholders, and the only water company of its kind in the UK.
The role
Reporting into the Head of Legal, you will play a leading role across the business in maintaining, developing and implementing effective compliance around competition law and data protection; provide legal support on matters relating to competition law and data protection regulation; and have the opportunity to build strategy, supervise and develop the wider legal team.
About you
To be effective in this role you will knowledge of competition law and data protection ideally gained within a regulatory environment. You will be a self-starter with initiative to work within a fast-paced dynamic environment. The Legal Team at Dŵr Cymru plays an important role in supporting the business to be able to deliver its high quality, essential services and takes pride in seeing its work contribute to the protection of the health of customers, colleagues and the environment.
