Igloo exists to make life easier. We’re here to help reduce the cost of running a home and lower carbon emissions to combat climate change.
It might seem obvious, but traditional energy companies make more money when customers buy more energy. We don’t think this is in their best interests. Through a mix of technology and analysing data on how customers use energy in the home, we want to help them use as little energy as possible.
Our “customer first” culture helped us triple our customer base in the last year, and Citizens Advice has just ranked us number one for customer service. With strong plans for growth over the next 24 months, this is a great time to join our business.
Planning for growth, we have an opportunity for an innovative, dynamic and commercially astute Senior Legal Counsel to join our highly motivated and dynamic business to play a key role in developing our in-house legal function.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will have full autonomy to build and shape the legal function’s processes and procedures whilst providing delivery of all of Igloo’s day to day commercial legal requirements – effectively operating as Sole Counsel, but with the support of the General Counsel.
This is an exciting and pivotal legal role which, for the right person, will develop into a fully-fledged Head of Legal position leading their own team.
Due to the variety and scope of this position, this role will suit a commercial/project lawyer who has the ability to work autonomously; has strong commercial acumen and ability to build relationships effectively across the business.
Should you find this initial brief of interest and wish to find out further detail please email Claire Sharp at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that this assignment is being handled exclusively by our retained search consultants Mack Legal and all direct or third party applications will be forwarded to them for consideration.
