Our client, a leading utility company, is requiring a commercial, strategic, “hands-on” Head of Legal for a maternity leave, reporting into the CFO.
As the interim Head of Legal you will be responsible for managing, leading and mentoring the legal and compliance divisions which will also include shaping and developing effective and efficient procedures and processes. Working across the business, this role bridges over from HOL to GC as will also involve working at board level providing solutions and options around risk appetite through this transformative and exciting stage.
You will be UK qualified. To be effective in this position you will have a proven track record of leading legal teams, have a hands on attitude and ability to be effective at board level. A “hands on” General Counsel would be perfect! Regulated sector experience is essential. You will have a collaborative approach together, with the innate ability to lead through inspiring and motivating.
